The Village Fete is held traditionally on the Playing Field on the last Saturday in July at 6pm.
The 2023 Fete raised a total of £2329.85 – many thanks to all who attended and the stall holders and the organisers.
The provisional date of the next Village Fete is Saturday 27th July 2024 at 6pm. The poster for the 2023 Fete shows the range of stalls.
There was live music from “Wroxham Praise” during the 2023 Fete.
This event was been supported by the PPLPRS charity and community discount scheme. PPLPRS licenses the use of copyright music across the UK, giving businesses and organisations the permission they need to play the music they want. Advance offers of help on the day in particular with the various stalls and games and/or donations of raffle prizes* will be most welcome. These can be registered now by emailing the organising committee using the contact form on this page.
*Unfortunately, raffle prizes CANNOT be accepted on the day – please contact the organisers if you wish to provide a prize which must be received by 6pm Thursday 25th July 2024.
The 2022 Fete raised the splendid total of £2,259.02 – this was allocated by Thurne PC at their meeting on Thursday 1st September – see Minutes here.
There was no Village Fete in July 2020 or 2021 due to the global pandemic.
The Village Fete on Saturday 27th July 2019 raised the splendid sum of £1,580. The proceeds raised went to St Edmunds Church, Thurne Methodist Chapel and Norfolk Air Ambulance.
